Oral Healthcare - Plaque

Plaque is a thin, sticky film of bacteria that constantly forms on your teeth. The plaque reacts with food turning sugar into acid, which then dissolves the enamel on your teeth. Daily brushing and cleaning between your teeth is important because it removes plaque. If the plaque is not removed, it continues to build up feeding on the food debris left behind causing tooth decay and gum disease.
